NIGHTLY Jaymod 2.1.8 BINARIES, CHANGELOG and DOCS
Effective immediately we are now making available Nightly binaries and documentation direct from the main development branch of Jaymod
Nightly builds launch automatically (if there have been changes since the prior build) at 2am EDT. Nightly-build follows the same rigorous platform release process we follow for Beta and Stable releases but are not tested. Nightly-build produces binaries for all supported platforms (Linux, OSX and Windows) and will only post results if all 3 platforms succeed. Retention policy is to keep binaries posted after the most recent Beta release. Binaries posted prior to the last Beta will be archived or purged as necessary. Online documentation will not be archived; only the most recent build documentation is available online.
Package filenames will denote the year, month and day of the build in YYYYMMDD format. For example, jaymod-20070905-2.1.8.tar.gz was packaged September 5th, 2007 and is leading up to what will become a Jaymod 2.1.8 release. It is very important when posting bug reports to state clearly which Nightly binary you are running.
Please note: these untested builds should only to be used by server admins who are experienced with updating and configuring Jaymod and are willing to help out the community by assuming the risk of using untested binaries and offering feedback. This will help us deliver better Beta and Stable releases down the road. Thanks to all who venture down this road!
