Re: Jaymod 2.2.0 Upgrade - Signal 11

Signal 11 is segmentation fault, which means a plain old crash.
I suppose in your case, you forgot to update your omni bot files.

Jaymod 2.2.0 requires an updated version of omni bots.

Re: Making a jaymod trickjump server

We used to maintain a Jaymod TJ server for quite some time (1-2 years) and we were unable to figure out a way to prevent this.
It may be possible, but I doubt it.

Re: Donations to Jaymod project

It's been almost one year now, but I finally managed to send the donation I promised long ago!
Hope you'll enjoy it.

Re: Molotovs

You're welcome. You might have got something wrong there though.
I looked it up from the 2.2.0 docs I mirrored on my server.

Re: user.db

Yea, I wrote it because I wanted to clear the bans without losing the user records.

As for the programming language: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_%28progr ... anguage%29

Re: user.db

Here you go. Source code written in D programming language, but after all, it's very simple. module main; import tango.io.device.File; import Text = tango.text.Util; import tango.io.stream.Lines; import tango.io.Stdout; import tango.io.stream.Format; import tango.time.Time; import tango.time.Clock; ...

Re: user.db

I once wrote a tiny program that would scan a user.db and create a file like "unban.cfg" that you could exec on your server to clear all the bans.
I'll see if I can find it somewhere and post back later.

Team killing possible with panzerwar turned on

We run a panzerwar server and on low gravity maps it's possible to kill team mates by shooting at them from above.
They'll die from falling damage but the server will report a team kill, so I suppose it's something that could be fixed,
unless it's supposed to be like that.

Thanks in advance.

user.db XP format

Hi, I'd like to grab some information from a user.db file to make some statistics. To get some meaningful results, I'd like to extract the XP as well to only count players above a certain threshold. Would you be able to explain how the XP is saved? (I'd be fine with a code snippet, too) Thanks in ad...

Re: XP reset issues

All my servers run on 64 bit Ubuntu.
Have you tried what I suggested? That test would show if there are problems with saving the data, or if it is corrupted while loading.

Re: XP reset issues

I have a server with 13k+ and another with 15k+. I have never experienced any XP reset issues with either server, so I suppose it must be an issue somehow related to your setup. If you can reliably reproduce this you might want to see if it's a problem that occurs while saving, or while loading. May...

If I am not mistaken, etpro GUIDs are easily spoofed as well.
