Alright guys, sorry I went MIA for a while lol. Between college, work, server maintenance, website upgrades, flash projects and config-master I've been stretched for time. But progress has been made on the new versions.

The new version is officially named Config-Master only, and will be version 1.1

The 1.1 version will include ETpub and ETmain 2.55, as I havent conpleted the Jaymod part yet.

1.1 will be released this wednesday, and 1.2 which will contain Jaymod has a scheduled release for 2 Wednesdays after.

I realize it is taking a bit longer than expected, but at least it will be a more finished product, and I wont have to release a "beta" version first.

And yes, Config-Master is for server.cfg only.

NOTE: There are plans for a Config-Master PRO that allows for live server testing so you can tweak your server.cfg file to how you like before adding it to your server. But thats all I'm gonna say

Version 1.1 that includes ETmain 2.55 was released as a BETA today instead of the final because of some stability issues with the updated code. I released to only a handful of testers that I know personally in order to pinpoint some of the main issues. Because of this, version 1.1 has been pushed back until Monday, or earlier if the bugs are worked out.

This has NO effect on the Jaymod version, though, as it is being coded seperately and has no relation to these bugs. The release date for the Jaymod version still stands.

And for the curious, here are some of the "stability issues" found with todays BETA release:

*0% opacity is not good when you try to change the settings
*Application shouldnt close when you change the maxplayer setting
*ETpub program shouldnt open when you save your ETmain .cfg
*Sharing folders could be bad when all the .cfgs are named the same

Nothing really that bad, just some minor code errors that escaped testing

Just thought some of you would like an update...

Well all hope is not lost. There is a project named Mono, that allows the use of .NET on Linux systems.

I can always re-install Windows, but .NET will be pretty much all it will be used for. If I can get .NET 2.0 running on Linux, the project should resume before too long.
