I'm waiting for some IPs of test servers :). Wanna test this support for native resolutions (I hope it works with 16:10 too, cause I would like to play in 1440x900) :D

While it should work just fine, I don't have a 16:10 display so it would be awesome if I could get some feedback from you.

I'm going to build a pre-release build for whoever wants it here. This is the first new release in a couple years, so I want some feedback first before I do a general release.

If you have a specific jaymod bug please let me know about it. I suspect what he actually did was use one of the existing rcon exploits to get the permissions to do what he did. I've fixed a bunch in 2.1.8, but I don't think you're running that. You probably should.

Hardware based GUID's are easily beaten. The only honest GUID system is a cd-key based one, which ET has no way of providing unfortunately.

Still harder to beat than just deleting etkey and registering a new one, surely?

Yes but so is MAC address checks. And those have been hacked around.

It would be VERY cool to have something else than the etkey for admin / xp, since pb is a pain in the *** nowadays.
Maybe something like a key per server? Maybe a bit more annoying then just having 1 key, but I don't think people really play on hundreds of different servers.

PB doesn't lag with Jaymod, it's not NQ where PB ON causes unplayable lags.
