I just have a quick question. Shouldn't the new release be named 2.1.9? As far as I know there are already 2.1.8 out.

Can be confusing if a new "2.1.8" is coming out, they maybe think they have the latest then, which they have not. :|

Just a thought

The former 2.1.8 was a nightly build and NOT the actual 2.1.8 release, so it is still in the proper version.

There is no stable 2.1.8 mate. The latest version of the Jaymod is a nightly build called "jaymod-20080125-2.1.8" and not so much servers are running it cause 2.1.7 gives better performance. Stable 2.1.8 and nightly build of 2.1.8 are two different things IMO :P

But let Jaymod devs make the decision about it ;)

2.1.8 wasn't that changed from 2.1.7. Performance should have been the same.

The problem I'm having is that one certain build types the binaries work just fine, but a release build does not. Our build system is also not creating the pdb needed to debug the build, so the only build that is crashing is also the only build I can't debug. I've got some work to do :(

Running a debug build works fine on the server? Shouldn't you be able to copy the debug symbols (pdb) to the release build for debugging?

PDB's are unique for the build.
