Shuffle enhancements

Would it be possible to include shuffle based on k/d ? To be honest shuffle based on XP is useless. Off course k/d is not perfect but better then useless XP.

The reason, I am suggesting based on K/D is because it will put 1 good killer vs another. Something like, shuffle no restart based on K/D will be much more useful.

After shuffle player can't join another team for next 5-6 mins so they can't mess up shuffle. Player can either go to spec or remain in same team during that time.

Jaymod shuffles not by total XP but by rate of XP gain. The system is indeed flawed, however, because of XP save. The rate is artificially inflated since the player is awarded XP in an instant.

I'll look into the K/D ratio stuff.

Maybe adapt the ELO system that ETPub uses.

That's worse.. ATB in ETPub never worked for me...It always kept moving players.. All it did was piss of job on players, rather then balancing any thing.

From a mathematical point of view an ELO-like system would be much more accurate when it comes to determining the relative skill of a player over a longer period of time. The ETPub implementation might not be good (never tried it, only read the specifications), but implementing something like this would allow for cool things like sharing ELO score between servers or doing a global skill ranking.

Since xp save fubars most shuffles no matter how you do it

id prefer the !shuffle command to randomly shuffle each time it is called
then an admin can see when the teams look more even and reshuffle if needed

presently once the teams are !shuffled further !shuffles dont shuffle again

maybe have 2 commands !xpshuffle and !randomshuffle :?:
